MY PHILOSOPHY ON PARENTING

Conscious Parenting is all about parents letting go of their ego, desires, control and attachments, recognising that all children are individuals. By doing this parents need to go within and address issues that inhibit their growth resulting in rigidness and a desire to control. Getting alongside our children to form beautiful, deep, trusting relationships rather than disciplinarian, authoritarian or uninvolved methods that create friction and dysfunction within the family unit however still maintaining boundaries.

As parents we need to manage our expectations of our children and really see them for who they are, not what we want them to be.
